MTB09 - THE LETHE TOUR (about 3 hours and a half) - 2011 
The Lethe Plantation Tour is one of the most unique attractions in Jamaica. The tour departs Montego Bay and travels westward to Reading and up Long Hill to Lethe. As you enter Lethe, you pass over what may very well be the oldest bridge in the Caribbean and certainly the oldest in Jamaica, which was built in 1828 by slaves. It is the only one of its kind still in use today. The tour continues on a tractor-drawn jitney that takes you through the breathtaking hills to the Banana Plantation in the valley. You will hear the amazing facts about this simple fruit. As you continue the tour, you will witness a coconut picker climbing an 80-foot coconut tree, and of course you can't leave before you sample the famous Jamaican jungle juice, liqueurs and the famous Jamaican white rum. Relax and watch the river go by before you are transferred back to the pier.

MTB11 - OCHORIOS AND DUNN'S RIVER FALLS (about 7 hours and a half) - 2011 - 2012 
Travelling through Jamaica's beautiful countryside, you will pass many historic sites and villages to the world-famous Dunn's River Falls. It is believed to be the site of the famous battle of ''Las Chorreras'', fought in 1657 between the Spanish and the English for possession of the island. The English won, and under British rule ''Las Chorreras'' was first owned by Charles Pryce. The site later became part of the 276 acre Belmont property, which was acquired by the Jamaican Government in 1972, to provide for future development of recreational and park facilities. Described as a living and growing phenomenon, it continuously regenerates itself from deposits of travertine rock, the result of precipitation of calcium carbonate from the river, as it flows over the falls. The small dome-shaped cataracts are usually associated with thermal spring activity found in limestone caves. Experience the thrill of climbing the waterfall, in a human chain led by experienced Falls Guides. Pause at the 'massage parlor' and experience the soothing effects of the water as it cascades over the rocks, to the sea. For the less adventurous, view the activities of the more intrepid from the ''safe'' vantage point of the terrace or deck. For those who enjoy Mother Natures gifts, lose yourself in the lush tropical foliage of ferns, bamboos, ginger lilies, crotons, orchids, a variety of palms and breadfruit trees. MTB12 - MONTEGO BAY HIGHLIGHTS & ROSE GREAT HOUSE (about 3 hours and a half) - 2011 - 2012 As you depart the pier in air-conditioned vehicles, you will pass by the Montego Bay Free Zone, home to many telemarketing and data entry companies, continuing on to Barnett Street, one of the main thoroughfares in the city. Sightseeing continues along the Top Road, to one of the international airports on the Island, which is named after the second Prime Minister of Jamaica, Sir Donald Sangster. The tour continues to the famous Rose Hall Great House, which was once home to the ''White Witch of Rose Hall''. American millionaire, Michelle Rollins, currently owns the Great House. Legend has it the ''White Witch'' Annie Palmer murdered three of her husbands, in addition to numerous slaves who worked the plantation. It is said that Annie Palmer was murdered by one of her lovers, a cunning slave who was determined to take revenge on her. You will also get a taste of the exotic ''Witches Brew'', a drink named after the infamous witch who once ruled the Rose Hall Plantation. MTB22 - TRANOPY ADVENTURE (about 7 hours) - 2011 Board your air-conditioned drive to Ocho Rios and Dunns River Falls. After a comfort stop meet your guide who will provide a safety orientation; then begin your climb up the 600 foot cascading falls. After exiting the craft market embark the transportation for the short drive to Mystic Mountain. Upon arrival embark the chairlift for an approximately 15-minutes ride through the thick tropical forest. Our chairlift ride goes through the top of the canopy, providing glimpses of the cliff-lined emphasizes four distinct components of Jamaicas rich history: the environment and natural resources native to the island, the countrys colorful heritage and culture, Jamaican maritime prominence, and athletic tradition of the Jamaican people. There will also be time to walk up the observation tower for spectacular views of the north shore including the town of Ocho Rios and the harbor. A delicious Jamaican cuisine lunch will be served prior to your return on the chairlift ride that carries you just below the treetops and provides perspective of the forest. At the bottom board your transportation for the drive back to the ship in Montego Bay.

Board your air-conditioned transportation for the approximately 1 ½ hour drive to Ocho Rios and Dunns River Falls. After a comfort break meet your guide and climb the 600 foot cascading falls. At the conclusion of the climb, re-board the transportation for the brief drive to Mystic Mountain. Upon arrival embark the chairlift for a fun ride up 700 feet through the tropical forest canopy. At the peak spend a few minutes exploring the interesting educational displays about the history and culture of Jamaica and her people. Next, get ready for the thrill of your life on the one and only Bobsled Jamaica adventure ride. After an orientation embark your specially made Bobsled and hold on as it plunges through 2780 feet of twists and turns down the mountain. After coming to a controlled stop, you are lifted back to the top on an elevated tramway. Spend as much time as you desire at the top admiring the panoramic views, swimming in the infinity edge pool before enjoying a tasty lunch. When it is time to depart, simply hop a ride on the Sky Explorer chairlift back to the bottom where the transportation will be waiting to take you back to the ship.

MTB27 - Negril Beach Experience & Ricks Café Cliff Divers (Fuday) - 2011 - 2012 The resort community of Negril is well-known for its seven miles of white sand beach, its casual, easy-going lifestyle, marathons, daily reggae concerts, parties – and hedonism for adults. So, if your idea of the perfect day in Jamaica involves fun and wholesome entertainment for you and the family then look no further.........Travelling along the north coast, you will drive through several villages and small towns such as Hopewell and Sandy Bay. You will see the famous Round Hill and Tryall Hotels where world famous international stars visit from time to time, also the Tryall Golf Resort. The tour continues along the seacoast through the small town of Lucea. The Lucea clock tower was built in 1817 and stands in the town centre near the Old Lucea courthouse. You will also drive through Green Island, so named because of the lush vegetation that surrounds this area. After leaving Green Island, the scenic drive continues through to Negril. This is where Jamaica’s longest strip of white sand beach awaits you…so swimsuits are a must. MTB28 - Black River Safari, Crocodile Museum & Nursery (Full day) - 2011 - 2012 The tour departs Montego Bay, travelling towards Reading and up the “Long Hill”. You will pass through rural villages such as Anchovy, Montpelier, Ramble and Haddo. On reaching the South Coast, the tour takes you through Bluefields, with its beautiful stretch of white sand beach, just each of the old town of Black River. At the border of the parishes of Westmoreland and St. Elizabeth, you will see local fishermen and women preparing and selling fish, with a popular Jamaican staple called “Bammy” which is made from cassava. The scenic tour continues into the countryside to Black River, for a short boat safari on the river, taking you through Jamaica’s largest wetland area: the Black River lower morass. Various species of birds are in the morass and many are seen during the trip and a commentary will be given on the history and ecology of the area. The endangered American crocodile inhabits the area and sightings are very frequent.The crocodile nursery houses sub-adult crocs, from hatching stage to four and five year olds, displayed in a captive environment. A handler feeds the small crocodiles who impart extensive information on the interesting animals during the tour. At the crocodile museum, you will see an exhibition of crocodilian paraphernalia featuring all aspects of crocodile life. Included are displays of marine turtles, the West Indian manatees and the Jamaican Hutia (Coney). After the safari and on the return drive to Montego Bay, lunch is served at the Bluefields Bay, local restaurant by the sea.
