Picture Venice and you'll imagine historic palazzi, beautiful bridges and dazzling light, but most of all, you'll think of its winding waterways. So, what better way to start a guided tour of the Italian city than by boat? As part of your Stay & Cruise package, you'll be whisked to the watery wonders of this luminous city with a 25-minute scenic boat transfer from your modern hotel on the mainland. From there, you'll be immediately immersed in the city's exceptional magic during a 90-minute walking tour led by an insightful expert guide*.

Starting in the iconic San Marco square, you'll gaze on the magnificent Marciana Library and the rich architectural detailing of the Loggetta del Sansovino before your attention is enraptured by the imposing bell tower of San Marco and the Clock Tower adorned with its bronze Moors. Learn the stories of the Procuratie Vecchie and Procuratie Nuove that embrace the world-famous square and soak in the timeless backdrop of San Marco's Basilica in a space that overflows with beauty and history. From there, you'll glimpse the gothic masterpiece of the Doge's Palace before being led to the Ponte dei Sospiri ('Bridge of Sighs'). Wandering through the tangle of Venetian streets, led by your charming guide, you'll emerge at the Grand Canal and enjoy a splendid view of the world-famous Rialto Bridge.

You'll then have time to yourself, so why not sample some delicious food with lunch in a local restaurant or visit one of the many boutiques for a memorable souvenir? You can also make use of the Chorus Pass, also included, which grants you access to some of Venice's oldest and most important churches to glimpse Titians, Bellinis and more. The City of Angels will truly come alive on this immersive tour of Venice.

After hotel pick-up, we will board a picturesque local bus and head to the meeting point: a beautiful ranch where the buggies and off-road vehicles are located. Upon arrival, the guides will explain the itinerary, safety measures, and provide the necessary protective equipment. We will then set off on an exciting adventure by buggy and off-road vehicle, traveling along the main road, through sugarcane fields, and reaching Bateyes — a small town where sugarcane cutters live. We will see schools and churches and learn a great deal about sugarcane, tasting it, cutting it, and discovering more about this giant grass. 

Aboard our vehicles, we will enjoy this wonderful and adventurous excursion, crossing hills and plains, fruit plantations, and finally reaching the spectacular Chavón River, surrounded by stunning tropical nature that has served as the backdrop for famous films such as Rambo, Apocalypse Now, Jurassic Park, and First Blood. Soft drinks and water are included, and—why not—a refreshing swim in the Chavón River will be part of this unforgettable experience. The tour will end in the town of Benerito, where the bus will be waiting to take you back to the hotel.

And as part of our Stay & Cruise package, a fascinating city tour is included for the perfect introduction to Miami’s beauty and buzz. 

This captivating and colourful tour starts in Miami’s iconic district of South Beach. Art Deco-lined oceanfront boulevards compete for attention against swaying palms, beautiful boutiques, and crystal-clear waters in this pastel-hued playground. The tour will then cross to the skyscrapers of downtown and the financial district to get a taste of Miami’s dynamic diversity.

Little Havana is next on the itinerary, with the legendary enclave everything you could imagine. Vibrant and vivacious, the smell of coffee, the sound of salsa music and the colour of the Calle Ocho will captivate guests as they are fully immersed in the neighbourhood’s bright Cuban culture. The exploration continues through other beautiful surrounding boroughs, each offering a unique glimpse of the city's variety. From the lush tropical verdancy of bohemian Coconut Grove to the Mediterranean style of Coral Gables’ green avenues, you’ll discover Miami magic at every turn.
